  5. Besides revealing the sizes, velocities and occurrence statistics of coronal mass ejections and providing information 
  6. regarding the physical processes that cause them, LASCO has found more than 60 previously unknown comets orbiting 
  7. very close to the Sun.

  9. The extended solar corona in front of the center of the Milky Way as recorded by the LASCO C3 coronagraph on the 
  10. 23rd of  December, 1996.
